STRATSEC TO ATTEND THE 8TH COMMON CRITERIA CONFERENCE (ICCC)

This month, stratsec is sending its Executive Partners (Mr Peter Lilley and Mr Doug Stuart) to the 8th International Common Criteria Conference (ICCC) in Rome, Italy. The ICCC is the largest gathering of business and government representatives who have an interest in Common Criteria. stratsec Principal Evaluator, Mr Aleks Lubiejewski, considers the ICCC to be an ideal forum to discuss current issues with the Common Criteria, as all key parties are in one place,

“With all parties to the certification process, from developers through evaluation labs to certifiers, being in one place, it is an ideal opportunity to be part of the future of Common Criteria.”

With the establishment of the stratsec Australasian Information Security Evaluation Facility (AISEF) in March 2007, Managing Director Peter Lilley said that

stratsec has always maintained expertise in the Common Criteria and is deeply committed to its innovative application to more than evaluation services. We see our attendance at our first ICCC  as an important step in our long term commitment to supporting the Common Criteria and evaluations services in Australia, and an opportunity to participate in its future development and application.”

Both Peter and Doug will be available at the stratsec ICCC booth in the Angelicum Congress Center, in Rome, from 25-27 September 2007. Further information on the ICCC can be found at http://www.8iccc.com .
