stratsec followed its success in winning the 2008 ACT Emerging Exporter of the Year award, by securing the 2009 ACT ICT Export Award; in recognition of the company's export success, largely driven by the establishment of the stratsec lab; an internationally accredited IT security evaluation facility.

stratsec has been awarded major contracts in the USA, UK, Israel, Malaysia, Singapore and more generally into the Asia-Pacific region.  Current export clients include Microsoft, SAIC, SanDisk, Juniper, Eaglehawk, IBM and the Malaysian Government.

By virtue of winning the ACT ICT Export Award category, stratsec is also now a finalist at the 2009 Australian Export Awards ceremony to be held at Parliament House, Canberra, representing the ACT division.

Following on from the success in winning the ACT MYOB Telstra Business Award in 2007, it was two from two for stratsec in as many years; taking out the ACT Panasonic Medium Business Award in 2008.

The award category in 2008 was open to businesses comprising 20 to 200 people, previously 20 to 100 for this category. With 21 people confirmed as stratsec employees in 2008, the company pulled off a major coup in securing the SME award, just 12 months after the 2007 small business achievement.

stratsec took-out the Actew-AGL / Canberra Times Business Success Series award in December 2008 (coordinated by the Canberra Business Council).

The annual awards (2008-09) will be presented in Canberra in October 2009; all monthly award recipients including stratsec are in line for the coveted ACT Business of the Year award: stratsec the December 2008 winner.

In 2008 stratsec were joined by Unisys as winners of the Froggy Award (SME category), awarded to the highest achievers in the Federal Government ICT market from 2005 to 2008.

The awards are coordinated by Intermedium, a specialist ICT consulting firm providing the industry with news and information on the government ICT market.
