stratHACK launched at AusCERT 2010!

What is stratHACK?

stratHACK is the inaugural one-of-a-kind week-long assembly of our best and brightest information security testers and researchers, with the aim of finding new, undiscovered security weaknesses in some of the industry’s most important products and technologies.
 

 

Why are we doing this?

At stratsec we strive to be the best at what we do. We hire the best people and provide them with an environment to improve their skills and capabilities by learning from each other and setting new challenges. stratHACK allows our top people to share their latest techniques, skills, and knowledge. This is one way that we can ensure we keep current with a moving target and ensure our customers always have the latest knowledge being applied to their projects.
 

stratHACK Briefings

On the final day of the stratHACK, the afternoon will be dedicated to a security conference where attendees will be able to hear our views of security research over the last year and predications for the year to come.  stratsec sponsors and clients will be invited to attend, and a limited number of seats will be available to the broader industry.  To reserve your spot, contact stratHACK manager, Daniel Grzelak (daniel.grzelak@stratsec.net).

 

Sponsorship

We are currently in discussion with a number of leading software vendors to invest in the event and provide us their latest and greatest products to hack. Apart from contributing to the development of the Australian information security community, each sponsor will take part in detailed technical briefings to analyse and discuss tools and techniques used, and any vulnerabilities discovered during the week.
