Doug Stuart nominated in 2010 EoY awards
stratsec co-founder and director Doug Stuart has been named a regional nominee in the 2010 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards. Doug joins other outstanding entrepreneurs from across Australia who will compete for the ultimate prize of being named 2010 Australian Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year.
Doug’s motivation for starting stratsec was to develop a truly independent and specialist information security consulting and testing firm that attracts and retains some of the best technical and consulting talent in Australia. His aim was to develop a company that can provide frank and impartial advice and assistance to companies and government agencies seeking to protect themselves from the complex cyber-threat environment.
Doug is about to take the post of Chief Executive Officer SE Asia for the company and he is looking forward to the challenge of leading and driving the company’s expansion into the region through the new Singapore and Malaysian offices.
Doug will join his fellow nominees at the eastern region awards ceremony on 9 September at the State Theatre in Sydney where regional category winners will be announced.
